The fight against global warming requires the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. In order to do this, however, it is necessary to know how to count for GHG emissions.
This is why the UNFCCC-GIR-CASTT Programme selects talented individuals to build their capacity in GHG emissions calculations and inventory reporting.





On this 3rd day of training, a fun activity of city tour was started.
The day started at 10:00 am with a sumptuous visit to the Seoul Energy Dream Center which gave the trainees an idea of the progress of the energy policy of Seoul in particular and the Republic of Korea in general.





A wonderful visit to the Seoul Botanical Park at 11:00 a.m. then focused the attention of the trainees on the botanical diversity of the world in all environments.

In the afternoon, at around 14:00, a visit to the Gwangmyeong Upcycle Art Center enlightened the trainees on the possibility of recycling just about anything that can be recycled to produce useful everyday tools or works of art.

At the end of the day, everyone headed to the Gwangmyeongdonggul Cave and was enlightened by the history of the cave.

Yes, as you have correctly pointed out, the UNFCCC-GIR-CASTT Programme aims to support experts in the field of climate change and GHG to strengthen their capacity in development of the GHG inventory which will greatly contribute to accurately calculate emissions and reduce them.
