Morning session was devoted to the lecture of Basics of National Inventory Report taught by Professor Takeshi Enoki. There was an introduction to the NIR, NC and BUR, BTR under the UNFCCC. The part for exercises was very interesting, we compared our latest countries’ NC and BUR with the GHG inventory requirements, also discussed the differences and some limitations with other trainees. The session started with an introductory presentation from Mrs. Moon-Jung Kim about the South Korea’s Experiences in applying 2006 IPCC GL for GHG Inventory System. Me and my colleague Alisher Kassenov, we prepared brief information on the current GHG Inventory status, Agriculture and LULUCF sectors emissions trend, some needed improvements. Photo 7 – AFOLU sector for Kazakhstan Coordinator's comments: Although Mr. Takeshi was online, I see that his exercises were ideally done and much enjoyed by you and fellow trainees. It was wonderful that Mr. Takeshi could still join us remotely. I will tell Ms. Kim Moo-Jung who is our proud colleague of GIR that you found her presentation informative and insightful. I am 120% sure that she will be very pleased to hear it. I could not agree more that every single trainee (including you and Alisher!) prepared their presentation so nicely. |
