Professor Seungdo KIM, Hallym University, made the IPCC guideline easier than ever by explaining composition of wastes, degeneration process of organic waste, degradable organic carbon (DOC), decompostable DOC, methane correction factor, methane generation potential, and finally first order decay (FOD) model of IPCC guideline to estimate GHG emission from waste sector.  We learnt the FOD model by doing exercise at classroom using Excel. We discussed with our nearby colleagues and also took help from professor to learn about the how to prepare our Excel file for accounting GHG emission according to FOD model. The professor made learning of GHG emission accounting easier than ever before.
