  Coordinator’s comments: Emission projection is definitely something that most GHG inventory compilers would find unfamiliar and rather challenging. But, as you mentioned in your journal, projection and GHG inventory are closely linked to each other and I could not agree more that this session would be a very useful first step to examine national GHG management from a broader perspective including estimating emissions and how to project the trend of emissions based on existing data and then how to establish NDCs accordingly. Look forward to your great progress in this field and sharing with us Kiribati’s experience in how to utilize emission projection data to enhance both the GHG inventory and national commitment to mitigation. |
