  Coordinator’s comments: The use of a plastic straw or paper straw surely was an interesting topic to be discussed and I am glad that Prof. Kim's session encouraged trainees to bring up such issue and let everyone ponder and share their views. This straw issue has always been in the corner of my mind as a person who prefers paper straws (though it cannot be a 100% green option). As your journal has reminded me of it, I must stop procrastinating and start doing some study to explore which option would truly be more sustainable and have less impact on the environment in the longer term. I must give you a big round of applause for your presentations on NC. You were very confident and delivered yours so professionally that I never imagined such agenda were new to you. Great job, Dechen! |
